Inspired by real events.

Reviews

5 stars Apparently, the story is based on real events. After reading The Burning I’m glad the events happened in America. I really connected with the central character, Detective Naomi Charlton as she works on the case and has an unexpected turn in her personal life. I met the author and he told me that there are another seven books in the Branford Chronicles series that follow her story arc, both in the police career and her private life. I’m looking forward to reading those when they come out.
