What the Dead Left Behind
A Toby Dunbar Novel
Book 3 of 3
By the time Toby Dunbar reaches the end of the case, the truth is no longer only about Skinny Jim.
It is about Sandy May.
Officer Danner.
Old ghosts from the neighborhood.
And the terrible weight the dead leave for the living to carry.
As the final pieces fall into place, Toby is forced to confront a reality sadder and more complicated than guilt or innocence ever should have been. What happened that night cannot be separated from who loved who, who misunderstood who, and who kept carrying the wrong story long enough for it to become fate.
What the Dead Left Behind is a haunting final volume about revelation, love, consequence, and the difference between what happened and what survives.
