If my books feel packed with mystery and mayhem, it's because my life is too. As a husband, dad, writer, gardener, botanist, and serial DIY enthusiast, I've collected unusual experiences ranging from keeping ant farms, to building garden ponds that attracted everything except the wildlife he wanted. I've raised chickens and frogs, climbed trees, and had conker fights many of which I won. My writing encompasses all these experiences wrapped up as clean spooky thrillers, supernatural mysteries, dark fantasies, and cozy animal adventures. I live near the New Forest with my family, and two cats, one of whom disappears for months at a time and returns looking suspiciously pleased with himself. I might write a story about him one day...
