I dont want to give any spoilers so I'll just say Adrian made AEGIS too good at protecting human life. Aegis just did its job and humans are greedy.

It's a very sharp, thought-provoking read, and I'd recommend it for tech fans and Black Mirror-style fans because the little moral dilemmas and so on were so intriguing. Really liked the relentless pacing of the book, like how seamlessly the author shifted the narrative from high-level, almost architectural design to a dark, high-stakes design. Really, really interesting.
