SuperHero Business: A Toby Dunbar Novel
Everybody wants something from Toby Dunbar.
The street wants Lou Money’s hidden fortune. The police want Mavis’s note. Old gangsters want the list they think is buried beneath her words. Henry wants the truth about his sister. Billy Jr. wants to protect the family. Sandy May wants to understand why Toby keeps carrying grief he cannot explain.
And Ms. V may be the most dangerous connection of all.
As rumors spread that Mavis’s note contains names tied to dirty cops, gangsters, politicians, and Lou Money’s old secrets, Toby realizes the danger is no longer only on the block. It has moved into badges, back rooms, and polite conversations where killers smile first.
Detective Danner wants an unofficial meeting with Toby and Ms. V.
That alone is dangerous.
But when Bellor and Kongo move from rumor into threat, Toby understands the truth: someone does not want Ms. V arrested.
They want her dead.
In the final book of the Lou Money’s Money Trilogy, Toby must decide what kind of man he can still afford to be when everyone keeps reaching for the same part of him: the part that protects, carries, and steps in before the bullet finishes the sentence.
This is not hero business.
This is SuperHero Business.

5 out of 5 stars A great read of "who did it?" so you want to find out Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2026 Format: Kindle This was book number 3 from the trilogy. A group of people trying to figure out the culprit with clues and will shock you who was in on it. I love reading books that solve mysterious crimes. It will keep you wondering and intrigued until you reach the end of the story. The real explanation of this trilogy was very interesting. Recommend if you want to read something new!
4 out of 5 stars A Suspenseful Finale to a Great Trilogy Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2026 Format: Kindle I really enjoyed SuperHero Business! It was a fast-paced thriller with plenty of twists that kept me guessing without ever feeling confusing. By this point in the trilogy, I was just as invested in Toby as I was in the mystery. The story does a great job blending family loyalty, corruption, and suspense, and the mystery surrounding Mavis’s note kept me hooked until the very end. If you’ve been following the series, this is a satisfying conclusion that wraps everything up while still delivering plenty of action and suspense.
