What a breathtaking read this was. Following on from the events in the last book, Regan's flat is cordoned off and she has moved in temporarily with her mother Pam who is not your typical loving mother. She is still determined to bring down Bradshaw even if it means going solo. This is a riveting and gritty read. It was quite emotional and we get to know more of Regan's backstory and childhood and things come full circle as we see the how the repercussions of past actions from both her parents come to pass. The book is full of shocks and the ending is incredible and left me wishing the next book was lined up ready to read. I can't wait.
Well Andrew did it again, I couldn't put it down! What a start to this 3rd book and I'm hooked. Bradshaw eliminates his competition, in the usual way. The penny drops for Regan about her ex and her cantankerous mother gets to say, "I told you so". But revelations about both her parents and her younger brother's death, threatened to blow Regan's world apart - can she handle it? It feels like the chickens are coming home to roost... And the ending is a doozy!
I absolutely love this series, I totally devoured this latest read with Regan Carter. This series is one of the best in the genre and one I highly recommend. It is full of shocks, revelations and a shed load of suspense to keep the reader engrossed right from the first page until the end. We find out more of Regan's dysfunctional upbringing and the early events in her life which have made her the character that she is. This is a really brilliant read from an author at the top of his game. I loved it!
