Liberation Park - The Lancefield Murders 5

Formats: E-Book, Paperback

As one killer dies, another emerges. Has DCI Price grown too close to the Lancefields to see the truth?

DCI Ennor Price, so close to finally solving the Lancefield murders, is sure of his suspect. All he lacks now is the cold, hard evidence he needs to bring the killer to justice. So, when an unexpected invitation to a society wedding at Liberation Park gives him the opportunity to get closer to his quarry, he can hardly believe his luck.

Newly-promoted DI Steph Hall, brought in to investigate a suspicious death at the exclusive Yorkshire wedding venue, laughs off any possible links to the Lancefields. But as the facts unfold, and she listens to Price, it soon becomes clear that his invitation to the wedding was more than a simple coincidence.

Five hundred miles away in Penzance, DS Tom Parkinson is called upon to investigate the disappearance of an all-too-familiar face. But when evidence emerges to link the missing woman to the tragic events at Liberation Park, old sins and bitter jealousies resurface.

And as Price, Parkinson and Hall begin to draw in the net around the Lancefields, what remains of the family begins to implode as suspect turns against suspect and the investigation reaches its gripping, unforgettable conclusion.

Reviews

A brilliant conclusion to this gripping and intriguing series.

Goodreads Reviewer

I have just completed the final book in the Lancefield series - the fact that I am writing this at 1.36 am may give you some idea about how good this series has been. Well written, complex - but not a “whodunnit” in the usual sense. It became clear, to me at least, that the culprit must be, could only be …… But that did not detract from the fascination - it became an observation of the art of manipulation and of the psychology of the manipulated. Highly recommended - but don’t read this one first, start at book one and proceed to the end.
