What stands out most about Rebel Without a Clue is the humor that the author includes. After a long trip through serious, world-ending science fiction titles, sometimes it's nice to read a book that has something to say but can get its message across with skull-crushing prose. I would place this book on my shelf next to any Neil Gaiman or Robert Heinlein title, appreciating the balance it brings to the genre. It's well-written and entertaining stuff.
