Evelyn (69) is living a vanilla life, it's lonely, quiet, safe but boring until Isodora, or Dora to her friends, turn up wearing bright colourful clothing, tacky earrings and lots of jewellery and drinks all the gin in the house! Dora is larger than life, louder than a Celine Dion concert and just as wild as Evie is safe. After turning up unannounced and stays at her older sister's indefinitely, Evies life starts to change.... For the better. As Dora's vibrancy rubs off on Evie, she starts dating again, with hilarious results. From the lisping big head, to lying cheater, Evie starts to come out of her shell. Add the beautiful Bella into the mix and the story takes on a modern twist to the sad story of ex boyfriend turned bad. The two older ladies spring to her aid with empty gin bottles, handbags at the ready. No one messes with their friends and gets away with it.
