I have a loved one with autism and after watching the movie Taken years ago, I felt compelled to write a novel about human trafficking. The title of the novel is True Mercy and it was a Red Ribbon Winner in The Wishing Shelf Book Awards in 2017. Since I love thrillers, especially if it is a book I cannot put down, I sought to give readers this experience in my debut novel. At the same time, I wanted to raise awareness for autism and the international human trafficking crisis. My second novel, The Book of Revelations, was published in 2020. It is a women’s fiction novel about self-acceptance. I worked as a newsletter editor for a private company, served as a correspondent for a local newspaper, and have written articles for various publications. Currently, I proofread and copy edit college textbooks. I have attended the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Conferences for years and regularly read my work in a writer critique group.
