'This isn’t progress - it’s destruction dressed in a fluffy robe and slippers’

Penny is a CyberCat: a creature of the virtual world made real. So when a mysterious box appears in Professor Eagle's ornamental pond during a storm, she knows better than anyone what it means. Inside is a flame-red kitten with powers he hasn't the faintest idea how to use, and a great deal to learn. Penny is not pleased to share her sofa.

But Ginger George is no ordinary cat, and his arrival coincides with a battle that will test the entire family. A ruthless developer and an ambitious local councillor are pushing plans for a luxury spa that would tear out the bushland and drive away the wildlife. As the bulldozers loom, the Eagle family uncover corporate greed, political corruption, and the truth about the legendary panther that stalks the bush.

With mysterious earth tremors shaking the ground and relationships blooming amid the chaos, it will take a community to save the forest before it is lost forever.
