The imagery and use of colloquial terms transport you to wherever Skelgil is at the moment. Each book seems to reveal, as well as reinforce, the characters and their relationships. I appreciate the lack of profanity and erotica. The inference of emotions and possibilities are painted so well that no play-by-play is needed. The mystery stays as mystery, for me, until the author chooses to reveal. I am thoroughly enjoying these books!
