Harry Newman is employed by a cryogenic company located near Perth, Scotland. The company has half a million pounds in the bank, and Harry wants it. His contract specifies that if any of the four shareholders die, their shares will go to him. If all die, he will own the company and the money. How can he kill them and get away with it?
He enlists a couple he knows to aid in his ingenious scheme.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating car thefts and drug supplies. Helen, a detective, is on the case, and she believes a big farm building is concealing the stolen cars. But there are hundreds of farms in the area. Seeing a post office van delivering to a farm, a post worker provides her with information concerning a farm. The farmer is involved in storing and supplying drugs, and his accomplice is the stealing cars. While searching the farm, Helen falls from the roof and is held captive.
The police are under pressure to find where she is before the gangsters from Glasgow arrive to torture and kill her.
In the interim, Harry Newman informs the police that the four shareholders had willingly agreed to be frozen. Harry murders the couple who helped him and buries them.
The police are searching for the missing couple in the cryogenic facility, but fail to find them.
They think they have enough to charge Harry, but in a court appearance, the jury disagrees.
On the farm, the helper is terrified for his life, flees, and informs the police of the what is happening in the farm.
Jeff, a detective, rushes to the farm, where a fight breaks out. He saves the life of his colleague Helen.
After being cleared by the court, Harry transfers the money offshore and heads to the airport to escape.
The police feel powerless to stop him.
However, a detective examining the cryogenic CCTV footage spots something. Harry's car appeared to be lower as it entered the building and higher as it exited. They rush to carry out another search at the premises and outside the building discover the bodies in a septic tank.
Because Harry changed his identity, the airport cannot identify him when the police phone so they must go there quickly to catch him.
The plane is ready to take off with Harry sitting in it, thinking of a new life in South America. He is taken from the plane and charged.
