Loved this😍 I read this as soon as I had finished the first book in the series as I couldn’t wait to find out where Ruby was going to take me this time! The plot line is anything but predictable and the characters (who I loved in the last book) grew on me even more as the story continued. There are more twists and turns, a little angst, suspense, intrigue and some wonderfully hot scenes! Even if this genre is not usually your thing read this because with all the scientific and tech advances happening so often now it may not be as “out there” as you think and it is just a marvellous read. I loved it!
Exceptionally good. Full of intrigue and hopefull not the end of it Oh, Ms. Scott! You better be working on a sequel, because I can't go on without knowing more, seeing more, witnessing more. Wow, this was a different kind of ride, that's for sure. It's still all kinds of (good) fvcked up and I'm all for it. Pretty please?Like in book #1, I don't think there was a lot of angst here. Which for me is quite unexpected, for a mystery that's almost a must, innit? But no, there's a lot of mystery and intrigue and so much more, but not A LOT of anxiety inducing moments. And I'm saying this from the perspective of someone who occasionally brave the angst world but rather run from it like people used to run from the plague. All the characters are interesting and full of flaws and now the plot so interesting and different from what I've read the last few years, and even better it thickens now and I seriously can't let it go. hahahahha
