Never mind Ian Fleming, Susie Fleming is where it’s at now. This totally gripping, fast paced thriller has so many twists it had me completely hooked and totally wrong about ‘who dunnit’ on so many occasions I lost count. Viv Wylde, the unassuming, tea drinking Yorkshire cop, with a promotion, in a new Scottish home, police station and team, had me snared right from the off as she entertainingly chased someone down in chapter one. She had a lot to prove being new, but she’s been a cop for many years and brings a lot of experience with her as well as a lot of sarcasm.
