Return of the Shiran is as excellent as the two previous books in the series. It's difficult to put the book down. The Silvan books and the Shiran books are two of my very favorite series. RK Lander is fast becoming my favorite author. Her main characters are very human (even though they are elves) but bring back memories of earlier times when honor was much more commonplace. I absolutely love the main characters, even though they are not perfect. Ms. Lander's writing is easy to read and the stories keep you enthralled. I highly recommend both series.
I’ve read the entire series, including the one before this one. This will always be among my favorite books. I’m hoping the story continues but in a way. I’m glad it ended when it did. A beautiful love story for the ages.
