THIS BOOK is based on the true story of the cocker spaniel named Bozo and his owner, the author’s great-grandfather, professional fisherman Joe Wells.

One day, at sea, Bozo fell off the fishing boat and into the famously dangerous waters of ‘The Rip’ the narrow entrance to Victoria’s huge Port Phillip Bay.

Amazingly, the clever dog swam with the tide and navigated his way back to shore.
