Andrew Lott is the author and founder behind Little Lott Books LLC, a family centered children’s publishing imprint based in Valrico, Florida. His debut picture book, Addie Needs a Friend, was released in 2025 and marks the beginning of a planned series that follows a young girl named Addie through the many things she discovers, needs, and grows into. Andrew approaches children’s storytelling with a focus on warmth, imagination, and real family moments, drawing inspiration from life with his daughter Addie. As he builds the Addie Needs a series, he is also developing companion series such as Addie Goes To, which explores the places Addie experiences in her world, and a younger sibling series inspired by Addie’s little sister. Alongside his writing, Andrew manages the full publishing operations for Little Lott Books, including illustrator collaboration, production, distribution, metadata management, marketing, and direct sales through his author website. His work blends creativity with a strong understanding of business processes and strategic planning. Before entering publishing, Andrew spent more than fifteen years in roles across the military, higher education, and digital strategy. He now applies that experience to building a thoughtful, reader focused children’s brand that supports parents, engages young readers, and celebrates family connection. Andrew lives in Florida with his wife, their two children, and a lively corgi who happily supervises all book deadlines.
