I live in the Pacific Northwest, love walks in the woods, and kayaking in the Salish Sea—I am an illustrator and writer of children's picture books and a graphic memoir. I'm winding down my career as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Previously worked as a public health consultant for a state health department. My project was to write a series of 50-page booklets about child health conditions. Now is the time of appreciation for everything.
