The Circus is in Town
Formats: E-Book, Paperback
Ages: 0-3, 2-5, 5-8
It isn’t often that children read a picture book with words that stimulate learning. But, Julie Kusma’s brilliant creation offers vivid images of the greatest show on earth; the Circus. However, it also teaches children new vocabulary with a glossary of circus terms and often-used slang located at the front of the book.
So, pop a bag of popcorn and prepare yourself and your child for the exciting world of circus clowns, elephants, and acrobats. Your child will be entertained with notions of silliness, animal tricks, and tightrope walkers.

5.0 out of 5 stars learn about the circus I can't say I've been to the circus but I know more about it now thanks to this book. Another fun book from the author to share and talk about. Lily Lawson
5.0 out of 5 stars A Super Fun Colourful Learning Book This is a great book about the circus, now a fading artform. Wonderful colourful images accompany sublime nonsense verse which make me smile. What's excellent and really cool about this particular book is the circus phases and jargon are in bold throughout and listed on a glossary at the beginning of the book, which makes sure no-one misses out on the meaning of these fun terms.
