Afterwards, he was repeating 'Pigglety, Pigglety, Poo, Migglety, Migglety, Moo, Zigglety, Zigglety, Zoo' for quite a while! The alliteration and cumulative verses make this a bit of a tongue twister, especially for children, but that's half the fun. Was very impressed by the vivid and beautifully executed artwork. The dogs in their tutus were especially cute. A real treasure that provides adults and children with an escape from reality and a great opportunity to have some fun together. T. Dar

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read aloud for preschoolers! “Pigglety Pigglety Poo” has all the ingredients to be a favorite in every preschool classroom library and at any home little friends frequent. The title hooks your interest and the whimsical artwork with silly scenarios fuels imagination. The repetition and alliteration are just what are needed to build language development and pre-reading skills. As an early childhood educator of 25 years, I am here to purchase more copies for preschoolers (they loved it and asked for “more!”) and as baby shower gifts. Well done! N. Hilbert

It’s a cumulative tale of animals: a purple pig, merry monkeys, a gaggle of geese, fanciful frogs, tiny tigers, dancing dogs, brilliant bears, high horses, wild walruses, and zealous zebras. I love the illustrations too! This book would make a great read aloud!!! J. Willett
