A is for Amazing

Formats: E-Book, Paperback

Ages: 0-3, 2-5, 5-8

Meet Jacqueline — a little jack-in-the-box who discovers that she is always in charge of her own thoughts and feelings. Through every letter of the alphabet, each page explores a different emotion or mindset — from A for Anxious to Z for Zest — with a memorable wisdom quote and a black and white illustration for children to colour in themselves.

Inspired by the Three Principles founded by Sydney Banks and the work of Michael Neill and David Key, this warm and empowering book helps children understand that feelings come and go, and that they are never as stuck as they feel. Perfect for home reading, school libraries, PSHE lessons and children's wellbeing programmes.

Written by Charlotte Helen Rose. Illustrations by Mark Bryan.

Reviews

Andrew Rose — "An engaging introduction to mindfulness for children" — "A brilliant introduction to the concepts of mindfulness for children, though equally helpful for adults. Beautiful illustrations designed to be coloured in which helps to reinforce the concepts and keep children engaged."

A lovely book that supports mindfulness in young children. The format is the same on every page therefore making it easy for children to access and follow. My daughter liked the fact you can colour in the pages as you read each one. When read, with the support of an adult, there are lots of words and concepts that can be discussed to help support emotional development.
