Stronger Together - Cul de sac Kids 2

Formats: E-Book, Paperback

Ages: 8-11

Chloe has moved – again. But this time it’s not so bad. This permanent change of station means her mom has better hours as an Army doc, she’s reunited with her best friend Ella, and she’s made a whole crew of new friends: the Cul-de-sac Kids. Life is actually … good.
But there’s one problem. Mia, her best friend from her last home, is still there – without her. Should Chloe feel guilty for loving her new life while Mia is stuck in the past? Determined to make room for both old and new friends, she comes up with the perfect game plan.
Then Ella’s dad gets deployed. Suddenly, Chloe is juggling more than she ever expected: being there for Ella, keeping her long-distance bond with her dad strong, and making sure Mia still feels like she belongs.

Why does life always have to be so complicated? One thing Chloe knows for sure: No matter the distance, no matter the challenge – we’re always stronger together.

Reviews

Lacey Moore 5.0 out of 5 stars A must read for those navigating the difficult-to-manage Middle Years Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2025 Format: Paperback I had so many friends when I was younger who could have truly benefited from reading this book, and this series as a whole. Friends who experienced loss at a young age, friends who had to move due to their parents’ job, and friends who had to navigate life after their parents’ divorced. They, like thousands of kids today, could truly relate to Chloe and Ella and all of the kids in the cul-de-sac crew. There are so many touching moments, and even some coping skills that all young people could benefit from in this story. This is a wonderfully charming and relatable book for those tough middle years.
