It’s a good old-fashioned PI story with a huge difference – our main protagonist is a powerful warlock. This is one of the best-written stories of its kind I have ever read, a story that grabs you on page one and has you reading avidly all the way through, not wanting to put it down in case you miss something. The style of writing makes you feel like you are in the story, joining the well-defined and well-developed characters as they hunt down a deadly assassin and battle evil. These likable characters are people you can relate to, and you’ll be on the edge of your seat, rooting for them all the way.
