This book surpassed my expectations, using fantasy to exemplify the courage and humanity we are all capable of. An excellent read In The Hall of Shiftings by Judith Lepore is an intriguing, “can’t put down” story. Memory theft is occurring and it is terrifying. In the ensuing adventure, the characters set out to find the memory thieves and stop them. Are the stolen memories destroyed or can they be retrieved. The suspense is taut in this riveting story interwoven with magic and love (both familial and romantic love). This is another wonderfully written book by Judith Lepore.
