Fourteen books in, and Ayres comes up with another new take on the time travel genre and it’s just as brilliant as ever. I wont say much about the plot without giving away spoilers, but it was reminiscent of his earlier book, Cause of Death, where something strange is happening and those caught up in it have no idea why. And just like that earlier book, when the explanation does come it wasn’t what I was expecting at all! As for the characters, all the old favourites are here and behaving true to form, just as you would expect. I know Josh, Lauren and the others so well now they almost feel like old friends.
Dark and dystopian instalment of Time Bubble series, with frightening parallels to our own time and space. Once again, characters with minor roles earlier in the series come to the fore in alternate version of reality.
The time bubble series is just literally out of this world! I've bought everything book in paperback so I can read them over and over, it takes a lot for me to get hooked on books but these are something else, you feel part of the time travelling team, so very cleverly put together, I never wanted them to end! Highly recommended if you love anything about time travel, I'm autistic and stuffle to read some books, these are so easy to read! Thank you Jason.
