Seelie Ames, like a million other Americans, is a full-time RVer. It's not unusual that she has a cat, either. Lots of people travel with cats. It IS unusual that she shares her RV with Arabella Montefoy, who is not her first ancestral ghost.

Arabella inadvertently introduces Seelie to Grady, a ghost dog, and that starts their search for Grady's late owner, Ike Latimer. They discover that he was trapped inside when his mine collapsed - not by accident - over a hundred years ago. Suspicious circumstances surrounding Grady's escape have Seelie and Arabella looking for Ike's killer - and the treasure Ike's ghost remembers hiding.
