I travelled alone to India to work with elephants, horses, goats, and dogs, carrying nothing but my hands and what I knew about energy healing.
What I found there changed how I understand animals entirely. In this memoir, I share the individual animals I lived alongside and observed closely — their personalities, their anxieties, the traumas they carried, and how they responded to healing touch, sound, and smell.
These are stories about relationship. About how animals receive from us, how much they give back, and what becomes possible when we observe them in their own environment rather than a laboratory. About integrating eastern therapeutic practices into a western world that too often overlooks them.
This book is an invitation to step closer to the animals we live alongside, and to take up our role as stewards of their health and our shared environment.
