Nanny to the Mafia - The shadows of Cosa Nostra Chronicles 1

Formats: E-Book, Paperback

Ages: 18+

He offered me a crazy deal I couldn’t refuse. Even if I knew I made it with the devil within him.

Antonio
All I wanted was a nanny, until she walked in and breathed a need into me. I craved her as my wife even if it was only a marriage of convenience. I would make sure she would never leave me even if I had to tie her to my bed. As long as she stayed with me.

Divya
I went to him to fulfil my financial needs. I didn’t know he would disrupt my world. Then I discovered the darkness within him and knew he wasn’t the type to walk the moral line. Yet, I stood and watched… even as he burned me.

Can Divya forgive Antonio’s secrets and accept him, even though his darkness is far greater than any of her nightmares?

Nanny to the Mafia, the standalone first book in The Shadows of Cosa Nostra Chronicles, is a Mafia, forced marriage, enemies to lovers, interracial romance featuring a possessive consigliere and his innocent British-Indian nanny. While this spicy, dark mafia romance promises a HEA, readers may find some themes concerning.

Reviews

Nanny to the Mafia is Sophia Raz debut novel, and I usually have realistic expectations for debuts. Sophia blew those expectations completely out of the water. It's absolutely incredible read. One of my favorites tropes is Mafia Romance and I find every single new indie author I can and read them (Mafia is my go to read when Im in a slumb and need something to bring me back to reading) Sophia will now be on the TOP of my list for Mafia stories for sure. There was so much in this that I could not stop reading. Characters development was incredible, Antonio had me so intrigued, Cora is adorable and has my heart, and Divya had me so invested!! The plot to spice ratio was perfect and felt balanced. But make no mistake, this is molto piccante!! Sophia has a very refreshing writing style that I thoroughly enjoyed. I love attention to details and Sophia has so many little details that I just felt made me more excited to read. I will absolutely be back to leave reviews for Princess to the Mafia, so stay turned for those because I can not get enough of Sophias writing.

"Nanny to the Mafia, Sophia Raz's debut novel, follows the story of Divya, a young nanny who unknowingly gets drawn into the powerful but alluring world of the Cosa Nostra Mafia. What starts as a job quickly turns into a marriage agreement with Antonio, the dark and seductive consigliere. Sophia does a fantastic job of intertwining steamy romance, danger, and moments of sincerity, keeping the reader on the edge of their seats. The chemistry between Divya and Antonio is palpable, enhanced by engaging dialogue and realistic interactions that bring the story to life. Sophia beautifully captures elements of grief within the story, providing unique depth and sensitivity that readers might not be expecting. Sophia's writing is gripping and intentional. The book is filled with three-dimensional, substantial characters, from Antonio and Divya to Rosa and Armando—the house help. Despite some confusion from readers regarding the prologue written from Florina's perspective, I found it to be a refreshing, original way to introduce the Capizzi family. The disconnection between Florina and the plot of Nanny to the Mafia provides a unique, unbiased perspective on the family and a basis of knowledge for the reader to work with from the first chapter onwards. Nanny to the Mafia is a captivating, fast-paced, intense read that combines thrilling twists with heartfelt moments. It is an essential read for fans of the dark Mafia romance genre."

This is my first time reading a book by this author, and I know that for sure, I am going to be reading more books by her so I would say first I was drawn in by the start of the story and even till now I really want to know who that random Roman girl is and maybe there’s a sort of connection between her and the story but I just really enjoyed this. I enjoyed reading about the way the story develops the dynamics and how nothing overwhelmed the other. This is a book about passion a book about chemistry book about romance at the same time. It’s also a book about the mafia and you don’t see anyone of these elements overwhelming the other rather they compliment each other perfectly we also get to see the third process of the FMC how she reacts to knowing who her husband is and also the way the different motives in the story where executed well well done it was really well done and nothing was a mess for me the characters that were likable were likable the characters that were annoying. We’re annoying. The characters that were side characters played their role well and the characters that were despicable with despicable as well and I just really loved reading this book.
