Befriending the Bear by Nora Phoenix is a super sweet book about facing grief, moving on, and falling in love again. Nora wrote this book with beauty and grace. I adore these men and can truly relate to finding that ordinary love that is entirely extraordinary.
A slow burn love story that had me sobbing for the grief of these two men. Kindness, pain, hurt, comfort and patience. A truly beautiful story with angst that only made it better. I want to sit in their Forestville kitchen and drink tea with them, hear Cal's stories of his husband, no longer alive and Fraser's stories of his past fires that led to his cane. Then I want to tell them that their story together made me cry happy tears.
