EDITOR’S CHOICE The details are a pleasure to read. The aftereffects of the disastrous eruption of Mount Vesuvius make us feel as if we are there with the characters sensing their anguish and pain. Readers will eagerly await the sequel.
I found myself racing through this book, utterly transported back in time. Five stars.
