The Honourable Edward Nicholson Esq is the third son of the Earl of Chisholm; the spare to the spare to the heir. His life and future are destined to be without purpose, one of entitlement. Edward is determined to live a meaningful life. His attempts to make a mark in society succeed, but in the wrong way. He finds himself penniless and disowned by family and peers after mutilating his brother’s best friend in a duel. He decides to escape as far as possible, to the colony of New South Wales.
Working his passage on the last convict ship that sailed into Sydney, the Hashemy, Edward meets the only female convict, a would-be murderess, Emily Broadfurd. Both are prisoners to their pasts.
Unentitled is the story of how they attempt to escape their pasts, only to be condemned to re-live them.
