Mark’s life has spanned the continents. Born in England, he was a child emigrant to Australia and has enjoyed work and play at sea and throughout the world. He retired early to scratch an itch. Could he be a writer – indeed an author. His first novel, Volcanic Winter was the result of two years of effort and learning. Mark drew on his life experience of military and climate change to develop the plot. It met with acclaim across those continents Mark has spanned. Mark’s second novel is about to be published – Unentitled - drawing on Mark’s life experience, his roots in England his life in Australia and love of a good yarn.
