With many hurdles, a few secrets, emotions running high and some crazy twists thrown in for good measure, this book also fans a sexy, slow burning flame and there's plenty of long awaited passion bubbling beneath the surface throughout. Kellan is a swoonworthy leading man- sweet, smart, loving and gorgeous. Charli is a quick thinking, tough cookie and earns every bit of respect that is owed her. Trapped is a metaphoric title in so many ways as the dual perspective, past/ present story kept revealing all their hidden truths. Kristina Beck is writing the kind of stories you just don't want to put down until they're completely finished. Trapped had all the romance and heat I hoped to find and the some, along with an intricately woven story that held my interest all the way through. I basically devoured this in one sitting and was thrilled to be given an early copy to read and review.
Kristina Beck writes books that leave you emotionally battered, yet uplifted, and hopeful about life and love. She's not afraid to tackle tough topics, but does so in a sensitive way that keeps you turning the pages. Each character has a journey to make before finding true love, and you are drawn into the story with every revelation and twist, on tenterhooks right up to the end. Highly recommend!
