Anna woke up in what looked like a hospital.

It wasn't.

Since the Jeep accident, Anna's been hearing a voice — calm, insistent, and apparently the only reason she's still alive. Because the people in this building aren't doctors. The men in the hallway aren't orderlies, and the bullets are very, very real.

She runs. The voice guides her. An armored van appears exactly where it shouldn't be, and Anna makes the only choice she has left.

She gets in.

Department 126 is underground, classified, and not interested in answering questions. They saved her life ... or used it. She isn't sure there's a difference yet.
