This well written suspense with very likeable characters is difficult to put down. You will want to follow all the main people involved because they really grow on you. Great plot and suspensful resolve.
Those who read Joslyn Chase's work will recognize characters from earlier work who come together in this one to solve a murder. It was fun to see these characters come together and form both a social and working relationship. They make an excellent and thoroughly enjoyable team. This book just made me happy.
Author Joslyn is certainly full of surprises. This time David, from Death of A Muse fame, meets up with Riley, of Nocturne in Ashes fame, in the brilliant Duet for Piano &Chisel mystery novella. Both characters are rare accomplished artists in their own right and both have a penchant for solving rather difficult murders. And the one in Duet for Piano & Chisel is a doozy that takes the reader in the most unexpected directions. Ah, what a pleasure to read! Hats of to author Joslyn Chase for a truly great whodunit.
