Pirate’s Cove is Tuning Up for Trouble

When legendary folk singer Lara Fairplay agrees to headline the town’s annual maritime music festival, the whole village turns out to celebrate—including mystery bookstore owner Ellery Page.

Even better, Lara plans to debut a newly discovered song attributed to Stephen Foster, “The Father of American Music,” a find sure to bring crowds—and publicity—to Pirate’s Cove.

But the festivities hit a sour note when a series of mysterious accidents begins to plague the visiting star.

At first Ellery hopes it’s just bad luck. But it soon becomes clear someone wants the celebrity songbird silenced forever.
