Life seems idyllic for Laura Lundon. The presenter of a successful morning show on an English radio station shares an apartment in Mallorca’s capital, Palma, with her photographer boyfriend Carlos McCloud, and their rescue cat, Harry.
Laura is also the new owner of a tiny but significant cottage the couple intends to renovate in the mountain village of Deià. One day it’ll be a cosy weekend bolt-hole … after their other dream project has come to fruition.
They’ve also made plans to turn an abandoned former restaurant into Mallorca’s first cat café, to raise much-needed funds for the adjacent Refugio Marylou – their American friend’s sanctuary for homeless cats and kittens.

Goodness me. The emotional twists and turns in this novel make it impossible to put down! A very lovely, sometimes very complicated story make it a great page turner. The key characters and what happens to them and between them are incredibly relatable. Read this book, you’ll love it.
