I'm a former BBC local radio presenter who moved to the Mallorcan countryside in 2004. I spent thirteen years writing freelance for various island-based print publications, and continue to write features that I broadcast on Mallorca Sunshine Radio. My first novel – a romantic suspense set in Mallorca – was published in 2021. 'Daughter of Deià' was professionally edited by a Partner Member of ALLi, Nicky Taylor, who also lives on the island. My second novel in the 'A Heart for Cats Romance' series, entitled 'The Mallorca Cat Café', was published in 2025. Again, I used Nicky for the editing. I am married and have two adult stepsons, but no children of my own. Oh, except the five cats that 'adopted' us and were the inspiration for my novels.
