I found this book helpful to explain what I needed to work on,It is a well written piece that gets to the nuts and bolts of writing in a easy to understand format. Having the notes showing what was happening in each chapter really helped me see more . I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for something to really get to the nuts and bolts on writing.
I've read lots of plotting books over the years but this one presented the steps in a manner in a clear and concise way. I especially appreciated the upbeat message of how the author succeeded through persistence and working hard on her craft. These are tough lessons to learn for all writers, but Ms. Diamond demonstrates how determination can pay off.
