I could not put this book down. I loved the idea of a writers workshop as the premise of bringing two neighbors together and the introduction of Richard Forbes, enigmatic writer and his adorable father-in-law Dean, the owner of the bookstore where the workshop is held. This series is just so full of zany, lovable characters that it's a joy to read. Ms. Diamond brings so much heart and compassion and all the wonderful idiosyncracies to each one. Bringing characters to life to where they feel like new friends that we love to visit or absolutely can't stand is difficult, but she does this so well. It is part of why I really love this series.

The author did an excellent job of creating likeable and memorable characters whose realistic flaws helped to propel everything forward... Don’t Be Silly! At My Age? was a well-rounded romance that I was thrilled to have the opportunity to read.
