C.J. is a queer neurodivergent breaking out of their Midwestern nice shell to dig deep into the trauma and struggle that so many seek to explore within the safety of fiction. They fill their worlds with people you might recognize and struggles that you can see yourself in. Their path to becoming an author began when their fifth-grade teacher read a bit of description they wrote to the whole class, and they've been writing ever since. Their early works centered around magic and destiny and romance, and honestly, not much has changed. Except now, the stories are a lot more queer.
