Voodoo has been on the edge of a life-altering decision for months. His MC doesn’t trust him, and he’s tired of trying to change that. Maybe it’s time for him to move on. In his club brothers’ minds, he betrayed the club by withholding information and, therefore, can no longer be trusted. For Voodoo, he no longer feels like he’s a true brother to the Warriors.

This, combined with his hidden, haunted past, is tearing him apart piece by piece and pushing him closer to the edge every day. It’s forcing him to a place Voodoo doesn’t want to go. Not even his club brother and cousin, Blade, is enough to keep him where he’s not wanted. Voodoo is set to make his final decision when a ride to support one of the club’s prospects leads him to her, Nevaeh.

Nevaeh hasn’t had an easy time of it for the last few years, but she continues on with the love and support of her mom and cousin. Now, when she feels like her life is on track and she’s free, an attack brings an old enemy back into her life—someone who shouldn’t be allowed out and anywhere near her to wreck her hard-won peace.

She’s sore, scared, and beaten when her cousin walks into her hospital room. Only he’s not alone. With him are some of the members of his club, the one he prospects for. Nevaeh’s heart skips a beat, and her full attention is caught by one of them, Voodoo. She quickly realizes she’s never met a man like him.

As Voodoo and Nevaeh grow closer as she’s brought back to the Warriors’ compound to heal and be protected, they find out they have more than her old enemy to battle. Voodoo’s demons, his brother’s interference, the club’s perceived distrust of Voodoo, and a Bratva boss complicate their world. Serious questions arise and must be answered.

Will Voodoo choose to stay with the Warriors, or strike out on his own to try to protect the woman he’s fallen for? Or will he stay and embrace the Warriors fully as his family? Can the Warriors truly welcome him as one of their own? Can Nevaeh protect Voodoo so he can overcome his past demons and the current distrust in his club, or will she lose him, the man she’s come to love?
