He’s waited years to become an Ares Infidel, and now he’s home to claim his patch and his woman.

Ruin thanks God every day that the Ares Infidels found his family. His mom and sister are both old ladies. The Infidels instilled in him the desire to serve his country so he could one day become an Infidel. Military service is a requirement to join this MC. However, Ruin and the woman, who is his foster sister and best friend, become estranged before he goes to boot camp. And that estrangement has gotten worse over the four years he’s been away. It’s so bad that they don’t speak unless forced to when they’re with family.

Ruin and his military friend, Konrad, are headed to Tenillo, Texas, after they’re discharged from the Marine Corps. Ruin is coming home to complete his prospecting time and become a patched member of the club. Konrad is there to assess whether MC life might be for him. Ruin is also determined to mend his relationship with Desi and restore their friendship.

Desi has mourned the loss of her best friend, Tanner, aka Ruin, for years. And her true feelings for him have remained hidden all that time. She knows it can never be. When she hears he’s coming home for good, Desi knows she can’t be around him day in and day out, so she makes plans to move with Isaiah. He’s the man who has been there for her and her son since the loss of Ruin.

Things become very muddled when Isaiah and Konrad enter the mix. Desi avoids Ruin while he tries to get her to talk to him. Much to Ruin’s disgust and anger, Isaiah is always near Desi, and his family adores and accepts the guy. Then, there’s his buddy Konrad, who finds Desi intriguing and makes his interest in her known. With other men out to take Desi away from him, Ruin finally comes clean about his true feelings for her. He no longer sees her as his foster sister.
It takes confessions from multiple people, especially from Ruin and Desi, to bring everyone to where they are destined to be. A happily ever after is rarely simple. And sometimes involve battles.

But revealing their feelings for each other isn’t the only secret that is revealed, and the past doesn’t always stay in the past. Desi’s past comes back to threaten her future with Ruin. It’s time to see how the youngest Infidel gets the love of his life. We gain a glimpse into the next generation of Ares Infidels.
