This bayou boy turned military turned biker has hidden talents. And the drive to go after what he wants.

Omen grew up rough, basically fatherless in the bayou, so he’s all too familiar with hardship. When he’s old enough, he heads off to the military. He has his mom and sisters to provide for.

However, that doesn’t turn out as planned, and Omen loses his family. That changes him forever. Now, he’s out of the military due to a mission gone wrong, and he’s left trying to find his place in the world. Nothing is tying him to the bayou anymore, but he finds there is something that ties him to Texas.

His friend, a former Marine buddy, Executioner, has helped form a motorcycle club. Executioner convinces Omen to come check the Ares Infidels out. Omen has never thought of joining an MC, even though he does ride. When he arrives, he finds that not only does he fit, but there’s another reason to stay. Executioner’s mother-in-law, Jackie, immediately ensnares him.

Jackie and Omen have things in common. She has raised three children alone. Jackie is very intimate with hardship, and the last thing she wants or needs is a man. In her experience, men often hurt and let you down. Her deadbeat husband taught her that lesson. However, she can’t seem to shake the attraction she has for the younger man who is her son-in-law’s friend.

Jackie feels she’s being ridiculous. Why would a handsome, sexy biker want a woman almost ten years his senior with teenagers and hardships? He’ll want those young women who flock to the clubhouse at night.

Omen disagrees and prepares to use his bayou magic to get the woman of his dreams. He’s out to prove he’s dead serious and nothing like the man in her past.
