A past devastating wound to the heart has kept this cop from finding a second chance at love and a family.

Law has been alone and has been hurt for years since he lost his fiancée years ago. However, he feels it’s time to open himself to happiness in his life, if he can find it. Step one is to join the Archangel's Warriors as a prospect, which is definitely not something you see every day from a police officer. He’s in the process of navigating this new life and learning about club life so he can earn his patch. It’s in the process of doing this that he meets a woman for a second time. The last time was two years ago. Law hadn’t let himself notice Tonya then, but now, she grabs his attention and won’t let go.

For Tonya, these past two years have been hell. She has survived her husband cheating on her, got a divorce while pregnant with baby number three, had her whole world turned upside down, and learned to be strong for herself and her kids. Thank God for her friend, Soleil, an old lady in the Archangel’s Warriors MC. It’s partially due to Soleil that Tonya moves back to Dublin Falls.

Law is less than happy when he discovers Tonya has been mentally beaten down by her ex-husband. Her ex is no longer someone she recognizes, and he’s scaring her and their kids. Being a cop and a biker, Law automatically offers his assistance in protecting Tonya and her kids. As he does, Law realizes this small family is what’s missing from his barren life.

However, Law will have his hands full convincing Tonya to let him in, to disbelieve the horrible things her ex-husband says to her, and to accept that Law isn’t still in love with his dead fiancée, Frankie. Along the way, Tonya learns something about Law she never expected, yet finds intriguing.

As Tonya and Law work together to grow their relationship, her life is put in danger. However, the enemy may not be who they expect. One of their pasts has come back to haunt them, and Law will do whatever it takes to eliminate the threat to his new family.

This cop will break the law he serves if it means saving Law’s Valkyrie and having his happily ever after the second time around.
