Demon sees no reason to change his status as a ladies’ man. He’s perfectly happy with his position in his motorcycle club and the women it allows him to enjoy. Or he is, until he meets the fiery Dr. Zara across a hospital room. He finds that his immediate attraction to her quickly morphs to thoughts of protecting, cherishing, loving, and having a family with Zara. There’s more to her than being a beautiful, sexy woman. She’s driven, strong, and smart, yet in some ways, vulnerable and insecure. Unfortunately for Demon, she’s also a woman who doesn’t fall for his charm or at his feet. Demon has to rethink his entire approach with her.

As a doctor, Zara is confident, but as a woman, not so much. She’s had her desirability called into question in the past. These days, she’s able to ignore men’s desirability and promises. However, now Zara finds herself feeling overwhelmed and a little obsessed with her thoughts and fantasies about a sexy biker named Demon. He tests her control. Yet, Zara believes she can’t trust him with her heart. She keeps asking herself if she should risk her heart when she’s sure it’ll be broken. If it were only the fact that Demon is sexy and handsome, she can resist. But he's intelligent, loving, and has a sense of humor. And he says he wants a family.

Each of them haunts the other’s dreams. Demon is out to prove he’s Zara’s man, now and forever. Zara doesn’t play games, and she’s convinced those are Demon’s specialty. She refuses to be another toy. When conflicts arise that make her doubt Demon’s sincerity, it sends her straight into danger.

That danger has Demon plotting with his club and a mysterious government contact to plan a rescue of his woman. He’ll invade another country to bring her back alive. Nothing and no one will stand in his way. However, this leads Demon and his club to make a shocking discovery about Zara. One that will rock his club and the ones they call friends.
