I loved this laugh out loud romance between a cynical lawyer and a medium who lives with a belligerent ghost. The setting of Chicago is interesting, and the characters, including the secondary characters are well drawn and three dimensional (with the exception of the ghosts, of course)! As always, with an Ally McGuire book, it is well written, with information threaded through the dialogue with a deftness not often seen. It has a deeper point and makes some of the issues around capitalism and corruption very clear. A must read, definite five stars from me.
