Tessa Woodward was the editor of a professional journal and a short-listed author of non-fiction before enjoying the switch to short stories, many of which have featured on BBC Radio. She has now published her first full-length work of fiction, 'In the Middle of Somewhere'. It's about a young couple moving from the Big City to a tiny village in the English countryside. Funnily enough, Tessa has also lived in big cities and now lives in a hamlet in Southern England! Tessa's favourite description of her writing came from an audience member at a public performance who called it, "Amusing, gentle and yet gritty!"
