A beautifully written, deeply human story. I received an ARC of this novel and was completely swept away. The writing is powerful, the tension unfolds with masterful pacing, and I found myself racing through the pages, deeply attached to the characters and their fate. A stunning debut from an author who truly deserves attention. Highly recommended.
I've been waiting for this novel to come out in English and it's finally here!! The story will keep you on the edge of your seat, with the twists and turns you don't see coming. This is more than a spy novel. It's a lesson in history (the author is an accomplished historian), a premonition of future events (the upset of the Venezuelan president is noted in the novel), and a page turner of entertainment. Read this book! It's a thriller that will draw you in from the first page.
